How to Create Your Own Certificates of Insurance Through Our Self-Service Portal

Welcome to the PCFG Insurance Services Self-Service Portal! We’re here to guide you through the simple process of generating your Certificates of Insurance (COIs) anytime, anywhere. Follow these steps to quickly and efficiently manage your COIs without the need to contact our support team.

Step 1: Access the Self-Service Portal

Step 2: Login

  • Enter your login credentials. If you don’t remember your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link to reset it.
  • If you’re unsure about your login details or haven’t set up your account yet, please contact us at customerservice@pcfginsurance.com for assistance.

Step 3: Navigate to the Certificates Section

  • Once logged in, find the navigation menu usually located on the left side or top of the page.
  • Click on the “Certificates” or “Documents” section.

Step 4: Create a New Certificate

  • Look for a button or link labeled “Create New Certificate,” “Generate Certificate,” or something similar.
  • Click on this to start the process.

Step 5: Enter Certificate Details

Certificate holder already in system

If the certificate holder is already within the system, you can type into the highlighted field. 

Certificate holder not in system

You can also create a new certificate holder by selecting add new as highlighted below.

  • From this page, you will be able to fill out the basic name, email, fax, and address information and save the certificate holder.
  • Fill in the required information for your COI. This typically includes:
    • The holder’s name and address.
    • The type of insurance.
    • The policy number(s).
    • Any specific requirements or notes for the certificate holder.
  • Ensure all details are accurate before proceeding.

Step 6: Review and Submit

  • Review the information you’ve entered. Make any necessary adjustments.
  • Submit your request for the COI. Depending on the system, your certificate may be generated instantly or require a short processing time.

Step 7: Download and Distribute

  • Once your COI is ready, you’ll have the option to download it directly from the portal.
  • Distribute the COI to your certificate holder as needed.

Additional Tips:

  • You can manage and view all your previously generated COIs within the portal.
  • For recurrent needs, check if there’s an option to automate or template certain certificate requests.
